Bowling Green police have made arrests in thefts at two major department stores.
Police identified two men accused of shoplifting nearly $4,000 worth of items from the Meijer store in BG early Monday morning. Investigators arrested Drew Fluck, 30, of Waterville and Scott Putnam, 29, of Maumee in connection with the theft.
The pair is being held at the Wood County Justice Center until their arraignment.
Bowling Green police also arrested two men suspected of robbing a Walmart store in BG. Police say the two Toledo men were involved in a similar incident last week in which $1,500 worth of merchandise was stolen.
Both suspects are also being held at the Wood County Justice Center.
