SLYVANIA - Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: Riding a school-record five-match winning streak, Lourdes enters the final week of the regular season looking to improve its seeding for next week's WHAC Tournament.  The Gray Wolves host Davenport on Wednesday for Senior Night before traveling to Concordia (Mich.) on Friday to wrap up the regular season.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his third season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 45-54 (.455) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his fifth season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 65-89 (.422) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Davenport has won all three previous meetings against Lourdes.  The Panthers posted a 3-1 win over Lourdes on Sept. 2, 2011 in Chicago as part of the Saint Xavier Tournament.  Davenport added a 3-1 win at Tam-o-Shanter on Oct. 19 of last year in a conference match before sweeping the Gray Wolves on Nov. 4, 2011 in the first match of the WHAC Tournament.  Lourdes holds a 2-1 advantage over Concordia.  The Gray Wolves defeated the Cardinals in their inaugural match at the Concordia Tournament on Aug. 20, 2010.  Last year Lourdes downed Concordia 3-1 in a non-conference match on Aug. 31 at home before falling in five sets in Ann Arbor in conference play on Oct. 28.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes rallied from a two-set deficit for the second straight match to defeat Michigan-Dearborn on the road Wednesday evening 18-25, 19-25, 25-23, 28-26, 15-12.  Ali Mass had 18 kills and 10 digs while Allegra Recknagel added 15 digs and 49 assists.  On Saturday the Gray Wolves extended their winning streak to five with a 25-10, 25-3, 25-10 sweep of Ohio State-Marion at home.  Katie McKenty had 19 kills as Lourdes hit .519 as a team for the match.

Home for the Tourney:  Lourdes has clinched a top-eight finish in the WHAC standings and will host a first round tournament match on November 7 at Tam-o-Shanter.  The Gray Wolves are currently tied for seventh place, holding the tie-breaker over Siena Heights.  Lourdes can move as high as sixth place or finish as low as eighth.

Record Setting Streak: Lourdes has won five straight matches, the longest winning streak in school history.  Previously, the Gray Wolves had won four straight contests from Sept. 15-18, 2010.

October Good to the Gray Wolves: After winning just six matches the entire two months of the season combined, Lourdes has posted a 6-1 record during the month of October.

Thanks Seniors!: Lourdes will honor its two seniors prior to Wednesday match with Davenport.  Kirstin Kirk joined the program prior to the inaugural season of 2010 and has been a defensive specialist for the Gray Wolves while Shelby Schuster transferred to Lourdes prior to 2011.  Schuster was a setter last season before moving to outside hitter in 2012.

Quite a Night Hitting: Lourdes hit a season-high .519 on Saturday afternoon in the three-set win against Ohio State-Marion.  Katie Bartlett had kills on all seven of her swings while Katie McKenty had a team-high 19 kills.  As a team Lourdes committed just nine attack errors.

We've Come a Long Way: As the third season of women's volleyball comes to a close at Lourdes University, the Gray Wolves will be playing their 100th match in program history on Wednesday when they host Davenport.

McKenty Moves Into Second on Lourdes Single Season Charts: Katie McKenty's 329  kills this season currently rank her second on the school's single season kills chart, passing Brooke Hearn on Saturday when she recorded 19 kills.  Ali Mass' 372 kills during the inaugural 2010 season is the school record, 43 kills ahead of McKenty.

A Record-Setting Season: Andrea Brown has set a new Lourdes single season blocking record with 77 this year.  She has shattered the old mark of 50 set by Brooke Hearn and Samantha Stainbrook set during the inaugural 2010 season.

Lourdes is 9-0 this season when winning set three ... the Gray Wolves are 4-1 in five-set matches and have won two straight after falling in the first two sets ... Katie McKenty ranks 47th in the nation with 3.50 kills per set ...
