Libertarian candidate Johnson holds rally in BG

Posted: Updated:

Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson made a stop in Bowling Green to talk about his vision for America.

Johnson and his supporters don't believe the two-party system can last forever. He's working to rally voters who want to see a different platform in Washington.

Johnson addressed about 150 supporters at the Clazel Theater in downtown Bowling Green Friday afternoon.

Part of Johnson's platform includes ending income and corporate taxes, replacing them with a "fair tax."

He also supports smaller government and reforming Medicaid and Medicare.

He acknowledges his chances of winning are small but says his campaign is all about bringing a different voice to the election.
