Obama urges supporters to vote early in Lima

Posted: Updated:

President Obama was back in the Buckeye State Friday. His third and final stop of the day was in Lima, where he spoke to a crowd of almost 4,000 people.

Lima sits in Allen County. In 2008, President Obama lost the county. With four days to go until Election Day, he urged supporters to vote for his re-election and to vote early.

The president took the stage inside the Lima Senior High School gym in front of nearly 4,000 supporters and surrounded by signs that say ‘Vote Early.'

Former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland also spoke to the crowd. He reminded voters that no Republican has ever won the presidency without Ohio.

"This state is the firewall," he said. "This state will give Obama a second term."
