Four Express volleyball players were selected to the All-OCCAC First Team, while one was selected Honorable Mention All-OCCAC. Three of those five were also named First Team All-Region.

Sophomore outside hitter Alyssa Meis was named First Team All-OCCAC and First Team All-Region XII. In 44 matches thus far, she has 560 kills, six assists, 513 digs, 40 service aces, 16 solo blocks and 49 assisted blocks. In 12 OCCAC matches, Meis had 137 kills, 14 aces, 136 digs, four solo blocks and 11 assisted blocks. She was named Region XII District E Tournament MVP, and she made the All-Tournament team in the Raider Challenge on Sept. 30. In a stat that speaks of her versatility, Meis is the first player in program history to record at least 500 kills and 500 digs in a single season.

Freshman outside hitter/middle blocker Dakia Sellers was named First Team All-OCCAC and First Team All-Region XII. In 44 matches, she has 551 kills, eight assists, eight aces, 111 digs, 115 assisted blocks and 147 total blocks. In 12 OCCAC matches, Sellers had 157 kills, 26 digs, eight solo blocks and 34 assisted blocks. She was named to the all-tournament teams at the Region XII District E tournament, the Raider Challenge on Sept. 30 and the Vincennes Invitational on Oct. 6. She was also named OCCAC Player of the Week on Oct. 28.

Meis and Sellers are both nearing the single season kills record currently held by Stephanie Champine (595, 2006). Meis is 36 away from breaking it, while Sellers is 45 away from breaking it. Both players are currently second and third on the single season list.

Sophomore setter Molly Hilfinger was named First Team All-OCCAC and First Team All-Region XII. In 44 matches, she has 61 kills, 1,349 assists, 50 aces, 315 digs, six solo blocks and 40 assisted blocks. She was named to the Region XII District E All-Tournament team. In 12 OCCAC matches, Hilfinger had 17 kills, 412 assists, nine aces, 59 digs, four solo blocks and 12 assisted blocks. She has already broke the single match assist record (64 vs Sinclair CC on Oct. 24) and the career assist record with 2,177 total and counting. She is 129 assists away from breaking the single season assist mark held by Ceara Barr from 2004.

Freshman defensive specialist Lisa Urbanski was named First Team All-OCCAC. In 44 matches, she has seven kills, 18 assists, 71 aces and 845 digs. In 12 OCCAC matches, Urbanski had two aces and 195 digs. She was named OCCAC Player of the Week on Sept. 16. It may be a long shot, but she is 162 digs shy of breaking the single season digs mark held by Ashley Hill (1,006, 2004). Currently, Urbanski has the fourth highest single season mark.

Freshman outside hitter/middle blocker Jazmine Thomas was named Honorable Mention All-OCCAC. In 44 matches this year, she has 282 kills, seven assists, 29 digs, 41 solo blocks and 117 assisted blocks. In 12 OCCAC matches, Thomas had 78 kills, three digs, 12 solo blocks and 15 assisted blocks.

The No. 17 Express volleyball team is currently 35-9 overall. They won the program's 13th OCCAC championship with a perfect 12-0 conference record and captured the Region XII District E championship this past weekend to qualify for nationals, which will be hosted by Owens CC Nov. 15-17.
