Voters say yes to parks & library, no to Imagination Station

TOLEDO, Ohio -

Voters gave an overwhelming "yes" to the Toledo Lucas County Library's request for a levy renewal and increase. 65% of voters agreed to the 2.9 mill 5 year levy.

The results were looking positive for parks late Tuesday as vote totals showed that 55% of voters approved of the Toledo Metroparks levy and 54% said yes to the Toledo Parks & Recreation levy.

The Imagination Station levy renewal failed with 95,065 no votes to 93,990 yes votes.

    The Riverdale School teacher caught on camera being physical with a student has resigned. Superintendent Eric Hoffman tells 13abc he received Barb Williams’ resignation letter Friday. Hoffman will not release the letter at this time. He tells 13abc he will give the letter to the school board Monday at its meeting where the board is expected to formally act on the resignation. Hoffman would only say the letter says she will resign immediately.
