Firefighters were on the scene of a grain elevator fire in Risingsun early Wednesday morning. It happened at the County Line Co-Op in the 500 block of Main Street.
The call came shortly before 2 a.m., when deputies say a passing train spotted the fire.
No injuries were reported, but it's unclear how much product was lost in the fire.
Motorists traveling on US-23 were urged to take caution during their morning commute. Water from the firefighting effort spilled onto the roadway and froze. ODOT called crews in to salt the roads to get rid of the ice.
