TOLEDO, Ohio -

A new Toledo fire station is part of the 2013 Toledo city budget that is set to be released.

Mayor Mike Bell's office released a statement Friday saying the budget will be revealed at a news conference Monday at 2pm.

The statement says in part "the coming fiscal year will realize only modest recovery in Toledo at a slow and steady pace."

Public safety is listed has the focus for the budget.  Another police and fire class are expected to be added in 2013.

The new fire station added would be station 12.  A city spokeswoman tells 13abc that the old station 12 was near Suder and Manhattan and was closed in the 1980s.  The new station 12 is slated to be near Blair Park.  Station 3 near Erie and Bush will also be renovated as part of the 2013 budget.

13abc will have more details on budget when it's released.
