Motorcyclist killed in Wood county crash

Posted: Updated:

One person is dead after a multi-car accident in Wood county.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says two motorcyclists were riding side by side on State Route 65 just east of Forst when troopers say Noel Clifton, 21, failed to yield before turning into a driveway.

Troopers say David Gartz clipped Clifton's car from behind, flipped off of his bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other motorcyclist was taken to Promedica Saint Luke's hospital with unknown injuries.

OSHP says neither of the motorcyclists were wearing helmets.
