Cancer Connection of Northwest Ohio offers free programs and services to local cancer patients and their families. The organization has helped hundreds of people since it started four years ago. They are hoping to expand their services with your help.
Mercy restructured its Integrative Therapy Department last week and Cancer Connection is hoping to pick up some of the slack and expand it's programs to include integrative therapy. The organization is planning to incorporate some of the holistic therapy treatments like massage, reiki and healing touch to its programs, but they can't do it without a building and donations to help cover the cost of the expansion. They're hoping the community can help make that happen.
Cancer Connection has helped more than 500 people since opening it's doors four years ago. More than 200 cancer patients have been helped so far this year alone, and the founder says the need for their services is getting bigger every year.
