Teacher fired for wearing bulletproof vest to class

Ohio education officials say a local teacher was
fired after wearing a bullet proof vest to class.
13abc obtained documents
from the Ohio Board of Education showing Brady Hineline's teaching license was
revoked after that incident.
Hineline was a teacher
at Glass City Academy.
He requested a hearing after his termination, but school leaders say the bullet
proof vest was the final straw in a list of inappropriate incidents in class.
Students and faculty say
they overheard Hineline using inappropriate language during school. He's also
allegedly inappropriately stepped in to break up a fight between two students.
Those incidents were
reported in 2010.
Hineline will be
eligible to reapply for his teaching license next year.
