A Delaware man critically injured in a
motorcycle crash four years ago will receive $300,000 from the Ohio Department
of Transportation.
According to court
documents, Michael Hamon hit a pothole on OH-269 back in 2008. He was thrown
from his motorcycle and flown to Toledo
Hospital for treatment.
Hamon filed a lawsuit
against ODOT, alleging there were no warnings near the pothole.
Both sides reached the
settlement agreement this month.
