HANCOCK COUNTY -

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office says an infant and two adults were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of SR 15 and CR 8 in Jackson Township.

Around noon on Saturday, investigators say Lauren Heldman, 54, was traveling north on CR 8 when she struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Marvin Taylor, 58.

Mr. Taylor's vehicle was struck in  the passenger side. Mr. Taylor and his two passengers, Maria Carlisle and an infant child were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital to be treated for possible injuries.

Police say everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt. Both vehicles were damaged and towed from the scene.  A citation for failure to yield was issued to Lauren Heldman.
