FINDLAY - Junior Danielle Taflinger was named first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) as the league office announced their annual postseason awards on Saturday, Nov. 17.
Taflinger, who earned second team all-conference honors last year, led the team with 310 kills and a .352 hitting percentage. Her hitting percentage is the second highest mark in the GLIAC.
The Lima, Ohio native also had 108 total blocks and 31 digs during her third season with the Oilers.
In addition, junior Mackenzie Vorst earned honorable mention all-conference honors for the second consecutive season.
Vorst tallied 210 kills, 135 digs and 37 total blocks in 21 matches before her season was cut short due to injury.
