Sandusky police say an advertising company donated billboard space to help promote safety in the city. The department says the anti-crime message is not in response to any one incident, but are designed to help the community.
The billboards will list emergency numbers, including 9-1-1 and the police department. They will also provide contact information for Erie County Children's Services, Safe Harhour Domestic Violence Shelter and Erie County Victim Assistance.
