AT&T has thrown the
switch on faster cell phone service for their customers in Toledo. The company now offers 4G service on
smartphones and tablets.
4G is as much as ten
times faster than older technology.
As of Friday, Toledo is one of six cities in Ohio to get the new AT&T service.
"It's really a lot
for our consumers who are demanding more data," says Mylanyna Albright. "Data
growth has grown 20,000% since the first iPhone was developed in 2007."
Meanwhile,
Verizon has offered 4G service since July of 2011.
