Based on the newest map from the Ohio Department of Job and Family services most counties saw their jobless rate drop for the month of October when compared to the same time last year.
Lucas county's jobless rate dropped from 9.2 to 7.3 percent.
In Toledo specifically the unemployment rate dropped from 9.9 in October 2011 to 8 percent last month.
In Wood county the jobless rate dropped from 7.6 to 5.9 percent. Hancock County dropped from 6.9 to 5.1 percent. In Ottawa county it went from 8.5 to 7.0 percent.
