Thanksgiving at Hollywood Casino Toledo

Posted: Updated:

You may have to shell out a little extra cash if you plan to hit the slot machines and have a Thanksgiving dinner. Toledo's Hollywood Casino is open for business this Thanksgiving.

More than 800 pounds of turkey will be served up at each of the casinos restaurants until 10 p.m. Thursday.

The casino's head chef says having the traditional Thanksgiving meal is a part of the casino's goal of creating a comfortable atmosphere.

"The holidays are an exciting time for our team members and certainly out guests," says Executive Chef Brian Hein. "A lot of energy, excitement. We have music. Of course, all the sports that you need are available on all our screens."

Chefs at the casino say they plan to prepare similar foods for the Christmas and New Year's holidays too.
