An off-duty TPD Sergeant was working security at the Downtown Toledo TARTA bus station when a man punched her in the face.

Our media partner, The Blade, reports Sergeant Diane Chandler told the man to stop loitering at the station and leave.

When she tried to arrest the man, he allegedly punched her in the face. A witness helped detain 30-year-old David Riley.

He's scheduled to be arraigned in Municipal Court.
