Boat pilot charged in death of former Sylvania Mayor

A boat pilot is charged with careless operation of a vessel in the death of a former Sylvania Mayor James Seney back in June.
According to our media partner, The Blade, police say Terry Green was driving a fishing boat when it crashed in northwestern Ontario. Both passengers were killed, including Seney.
Green is scheduled to face a judge next month in Canada.
James Seney was mayor of Sylvania from 1978 to 1995.

A monstrous tornado at least a half-mile wide roared through the Oklahoma City suburbs Monday, flattening entire neighborhoods with winds up to 200 mph. At least 51 people were reported killed.
