Police investigate shooting outside gentleman's club

Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday morning outside Remy's Bar on Matzinger.

Lauretha Caldwell told police several males jumped her brother as they were leaving.

She said one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired it in the air several times.

The suspect then shot the vehicle Caldwell was a passenger in and the bullet struck her in the upper thigh.

She was taken to S. Vincent Mercy Medical Center where she was treated and released.

    Toledo police shot and killed a man with a gun early Thursday morning. Police say officers were patrolling in the 1000 block of Page Street around 12:30 when they saw a man pointing a gun at a woman.
    A Toledo police officer shot and killed a man overnight. Police say the man was standing over a woman with a shotgun. We're told the woman is now thanking the officers for saving her life.
