The Lucas County Dog Warden has launched a new donation fund.
Cutie's Fund will help pay for the treatment of dogs with critical injuries and illnesses. The fund was inspired by a Chihuahua named "Cutie", who was on hand for the announcement.
Block Communications, owner of The Blade, made the initial donation of $5,000. The Block family will match other donations up to $5,000.
Donations can be made online, in person or mailed to the Lucas County Dog Warden, 410 S. Erie Street, Toledo, Ohio 43604.
