The six people arrested in a disturbance outside the Lucas county common pleas courthouse on were in court Thursday facing charges in connection with the incident.
Six people who were arrested outside the Lucas County Courthouse faced a judge Thursday. They're accused of rioting after their teenage relative was sentenced to prison for rape.
Police arrested six people for ignoring to leave courthouse property Wednesday. Our cameras were rolling as officers rushed to the scene.
It started after 16-year-old Anthony Mitchell was sentenced to 21 years in prison. Mitchell's family didn't like the sentence and got involved in a scuffle with police outside the courthouse.
All six were arrested and faced a judge Thursday morning. They're all charged with aggravated rioting.
The judge set their bonds ranging from $35,000 to $220,000.
