The State Fire Marshall's office has narrowed down the cause of a fatal fire that killed a five member family in rural Seneca County this week.
Investigators say they have not found any evidence of anything criminal. Investigators also say extensive damage is keeping them from finding an exact cause, however they have ruled out a wood burning stove and a propane heater.
Possible causes include smoking or electric space heaters that were used throughout the home.
Two adults and three children died in the fire early Tuesday morning, in the farmhouse in Reed Township, Seneca County.
