Findlay Police shot and killed a dog Saturday night.
Officers were dispatched to Park Street on a report of a dog having bitten an occupant of the residence.
According to police, when officers arrived they were met in the front of the trailer home by a white pitbull that displayed aggressive behavior towards officers on the scene.
The dog was shot by the Findlay Police. The male inside the trailer suffered bites on his hand and lower leg. He was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.
The Hancock County Dog Warden also responded to the scene to assist.
