Dog licenses for 2013 available now

Posted: Updated:

The 2013 dog license season is underway.  Ohio law requires dog owners to purchase an annual license for any dog that is three months or older.  Every registered dog must wear a valid license tag at all times.

Lucas County dog licenses are $25 and can be purchased now through January 31st.  A $25 late fee per dog license will be applied after the January 31st deadline.  Registration forms must be postmarked on or by January 31 to avoid late fees.

For more information on how and where to get a license for your dog, call 419-213-4406 or visit the Lucas County Auditor's web site.
