Toledo Police are investigating a fatal crash on Northbound I-75 near Exit 208.
Police say a pick-up truck was pulled over on the side of the roadway, and the driver exited the vehicle. Witnesses say he was putting a ladder back on his truck.
That's when authorities say a white van entered Northbound I-75 from Expressway Drive and hit the man, killing him. Police say that driver was merging and looking at traffic and do not believe he saw the man.
Traffic was backed up on Northbound I-75 near Exit 208 as crews worked cleared the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
