Authorities in Wood County
are warning residents about suspects posing as alarm company employees.
Police say one person
living near Hull Prairie reported someone claiming to be an ADT employee came
to the door and attempted to inspect the alarm system.
The company says no one
was in the area making house calls at the time.
Investigators remind
residents to always ask for ID before letting anyone inside your home. And if the
situation doesn't feel right, call the company the employee says he works for.
