Jury finds man guilty in Ohio frat house shooting

AKRON, Ohio (AP) - A jury has found a second man guilty of murder in a fraternity house shooting in northeast Ohio that left one man dead and 11 others wounded.

Jamelle Jackson of Youngstown was convicted Thursday in an Akron court after the trial was moved there because of pretrial publicity in Youngstown.

The 20-year-old Jackson also was found guilty of felonious assault charges and improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation.

Jackson's attorney says his client plans to appeal the verdict. Jackson's sentencing is scheduled for next week.

Columbus Jones of Youngstown was convicted earlier this year for his role in the Feb. 6, 2011, shooting near Youngstown State University. He was sentenced to 92 years to life in prison.

Jamail Johnson, a 25-year-old student, was killed in the gunfire.
