A man was shot just after midnight Monday morning in South Toledo.
The victim told police he was walking in an alley near Spencer and Walbridge when a man with a gun approached him.
When the victim tried to run away, the suspect shot him in the shin. He was able to get help at a house on Spencer Street. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
