Hope for the Holidays update

Posted: Updated:
TOLEDO, Ohio -

We've been thrilled to see a great response through the first few weeks of our Hope for the Holidays toy drive.
Many of you have dropped off toys at 13abc during our drive through last friday.
Others have put new, unwrapped toys in the boxes at other collection points across the area.
Last year, we collected just under 8,000 toys.
We're glad to say we have already surpassed last year's toy total.
Generous viewers have donated more than 8,400 toys, and we can't wait to help the Salvation Army deliver these to families in need.
There's still plenty of time to donate, and additional families need help.
You can drop of new, unwrapped toys through December 21st at several other locations.
Those include area Walmarts, all Vito's Pizza and Subs locations ... And the Hylant Group on Madison Avenue.
You can see a full list, with more details, on this page.
