Detectives are questioning a man in connection with a deadly shooting.

Lamine Wilson was killed and Kenneth Lee was injured in a shooting on Toledo's East Side early Friday morning.

Lee's uncle, Rolland Lee said his nephew pulled into his driveway and said that he'd been shot and thought that Lamine Wilson was dead.

Toledo Police detectives spent more than two hours combing the 2100 block of Woodford for evidence this morning, after firefighters responded to a 911 call and found two men shot.

The call came in around 4:30 a.m. Police say emergency personnel took the two men to two separate hospitals. One of them was able to give police a brief description of how they may have been shot.

It appears Wilson and Lee were in a car with another man in the Birmingham neighborhood. Officers know they were shot in the vehicle, but aren't sure who pulled the trigger.

Mr. Wilson was transported to St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Mr. Lee was taken to  Mercy St. Charles with non-life threatening injuries.

Neighbors told police they did not hear gunshots where the men were discovered. One of the victims, Lee, according to officers, lived in a house nearby.

Friday afternoon, TPD's SWAT Team went into a home on Magyar and took a man in for questioning.

Rolland Lee says he wants the violence to stop. "To the community, we need to put down guns and come to some type of conclusion of getting along with one another. There are too many deaths in the community."
