Next week's storm shifting north

Posted: Updated:

The longest streak without measurable snow continues, but the snow drought may end early next week. A storm system tracking across the south may track farther north than previously forecasted. At this time, the computer models do not agree with the track of the storm system. One model has all of the snow staying south of I-71, keeping the white in southeast Ohio. A second computer model has adjusted it track right over Toledo which would keep the accumulating snowfall in Indiana. A third computer model is now forecasting the storm will track across the Ohio River and head up I-71. This would put a swath of accumulating snowfall across most of the viewing area late Monday night into early Tuesday morning. The forecast could change this weekend as the computer models agree on a storm track. While there is still uncertainty with this storm, there is a very good chance a little snow accumulation could occur next week.
