Minor injuries to students after tree falls on Blissfield school bus

Administrators at Blissfield Public Schools tell 13abc that a tree has fallen on a school bus carrying students K-12.
The bus was traveling East on Gorman when it came up on the intersection of Crockett Hwy. There is a thicket of dead trees at that intersection and we're told a 3-foot wide tree fell on the front of the bus as it passed, smashing the windshield.
The Driver was not injured but the tree rolled over the bus, eventually falling off the back, smashing several windows on the back of the bus.
5 students, mostly elementary aged, were transported by ambulance with minor injuries.
An alternate bus was sent out to scene to get the rest of the kids were sent to the hospital.
