    The mother of a 6-month-old baby is in jail, charged in his murder. Avery Bacon was taken to the hospital Monday with severe head injuries. He died Tuesday night. Amanda Bacon faced a judge Wednesday,
    The mother of a 6-month-old baby is in jail, charged in his murder. Avery Bacon was taken to the hospital Monday with severe head injuries. He died Tuesday night.

A vigil will be held for six-month-old Avery Bacon at the Toledo Children's Memorial on Saturday, December 22 at 7pm.

Avery was taken to the hospital on Monday night with severe head injuries and died on Tuesday.

His mother, Amanda Bacon is accused of throwing the infant in a fit of race. She is being held in the Lucas County Jail on $1 million bond.
