Snow blankets Tiffin

South of Toledo, Seneca County was under a blizzard warning that was cancelled late Wednesday.

The snow caused the sheriff to issue a Level 1 snow emergency which means roads are hazardous and motorists should drive carefully.

As the snow continued to fall, the Seneca County Sheriff's Department reports so far there were no big accidents on the roads.

Several inches of snow blanketed the city of Tiffin marking the official arrival of Old Man Winter.

For the most part it was business as usual, except for the library.

A sign on the door says it's closed because of the weather.

Mike Longanbach was actually excited to fire up the snow blower and dig out his driveway considering last winter was a dud.

"I bought it last year and we didn't get any snow and I can't snow blow mud too well," says Longanbach.
