Christmas tree drop-off locations

If you're ready to take down the Christmas tree, Toledo has multiple free drop-off locations starting on Thursday 12/27.

The Division of Parks, Recreation and Forestry will accept Christmas trees between December 26 and January 14 at no cost.

Trees should be cleared of all decorations, bags or other materials and may be dropped off at six sites around the city. The trees will be ground into mulch.

Drop off sites include:Jermain Park, Schneider Park, Ravine II, Detwiler Park, Bowman Park - Laskey Rd. entrance and Greenwood Park - Darrell entrance. Signs will mark the drop-off points.

The City of Toledo does not provide curbside collection of Christmas trees.  For more information visit Toledo's curbside refuse and recycling program website.

Sylvania Township residents can drop their tree off at the parkign lot of the Admnistration Building on Holland-Sylvania Road between December 31t and January 11th. Like Toledo, they do not offer curbside collection of trees.
