
"Whatever" topped the list of most annoying words and phrases in a nationwide survey.
The Marist Institute for Public Opinion surveyed more than 1200 adults across the country and compiled a list of the most annoying words or phrases used in conversation.
"Whatever" held onto the number one slot for the fourth straight year. It was followed by "like," "you know," "just saying" and "Twitterverse."
