Toledo police say a dog is partially to blame for an accident Friday afternoon. Authorities say a man was heading south on Detroit Avenue when the dog jumped up on the steering wheel.
The man lost control, crossing the center line and crashing into a utility pole.
Detroit Ave was closed for over an hour as crews cleared the area and fixed the pole.
We're told the driver is okay. The dog suffered a "scuff" on his chin.
