A song inspired by three young Morenci brothers who disappeared two years ago made its debut Sunday.
The song, "Where You Are" by the gospel group Firm Foundation was played as part of the band's annual New Year's Concert at the Living Hope Free Methodist Church in West Unity, Ohio.
The entire audience was in tears at the end of the song and gave the band a standing ovation. The Skelton boys' grandfather gave songwriter and lead singer Stevie Bridgmon a big hug.
"I really wanted to be part of being able to find these boys." Bridgmon said. "I feel like it's the most important thing and as long as we don't have any answers, all we have is to look."
The boys' mother Tanya Zuvers said, "A lot of what they sang is what I think about. You know, where are they and that kind of thing."
Bridgmon's hope is that the song will bring the case more national attention.
The boys' grandmother, Beverly Zuvers said, "When you realize that somebody wants to take your cause and run with it, it just gives you encouragement. It renews your hope and faith."
The song will be released to national radio on January 18th. Bridgmon says the story of Andrew, Alexander and Tanner will be used as an introduction when it debuts.
The boys' grandfather Donald Zuvers said, "With this going national and getting on Christian stations. I think it will help a lot."
The song isn't the only national attention the boys' case is getting. Earlier this month, former America's Most Wanted Host Jon Walsh spent time with Tanya and her family while he and his crew were filming for Walsh's new Lifetime show. The feature on the boys is expected to air at the end of January or beginning of February.
