The Toledo Zoo offered a family-friendly New Year's celebration that didn't keep the kids up late. A crowd of families waited to celebrate "Happy Noon Year." They welcomed in 2013 twelve hours early.
Kids enjoyed an ice carving demonstration, crafts, animal demonstrations and even an apple juice toast to 2013. They even made their New year's res-zoo-lutions.
Zoo officials say the annual event grows larger each year.
"We all really enjoy this event, so many people attend and they really enjoy it. It's become a tradition for a lot of area families as well as people regionally," Said Andi Norman from theToledo Zoo.
