A dusting to an inch of snow remains our forecast for our Ohio counties, with only a very light dusting anticipated in southeast Michigan. The light snow will taper down to snow showers close to midnight, with lighter snow showers and flurries ending by daybreak on New Year's Day.
Looking ahead at January, here are some climate stats:

Portions of Moore, Oklahoma were ravaged by a mile-wide tornado this Monday afternoon. This follows a near-record quiet start to tornado season. Strong storms may reach northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan by Tuesday.
