Police find car, still searching for woman in Temperance shooting

Police found the Black Pontiac Grand Am they were searching for in connection with a December 29th homicide at a Temperance mobile home park.

Thomas Wallace, 32, of Temperance is charged with Open Murder in the shooting death of 46-year-old Ronald Roth of Toledo.

Wallace's neighbors at Inverness Too Modular Home Park say he claimed he shot the man because he was being robbed.

Monroe County detectives were searching for a female witness who left the scene in the black Grand Am. On New Year's Eve, Sheriff's Deputy Gary Kujawa located the suspect vehicle in the 5900 block of Benalex in Toledo.

The car was recovered and processed by detectives who found additional evidence that another person was involved in the incident They also say they found evidence placing the woman and the vehicle at the original crime scene.

They say they have positively identified this woman and are currently searching for her for questioning.
