Police: man steals SUV from gas station, crashes into pole

A man was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning after he allegedly stole an SUV and crashed it into a pole.
Toledo Police say a Jeep Cherokee was next to a pump at a gas station located at Cherry and Bancroft.
The driver had apparently gone inside to pay, when police say a man jumped into the vehicle and drove away. He didn't get far. The suspect crashed into a pole a couple of blocks away.
He was taken to nearby Mercy St. Vincent's Medical Center.
