Authorities in Lenawee County are asking for tips after a violent home invasion. Police were called to a home on the 2700 block of Drexel Boulevard in Madison Township early Sunday morning.
According to the Lenawee County Sheriff's Office, a neighbor heard someone yelling for help around 11:30 a.m.
Witnesses found 53-year-old Henry Merritt severely injured in his doorway. Merritt was taken by air ambulance to an area hospital where he was last listed in critical condition.
Investigators are asking for help finding the suspect or suspects behind the home invasion.
