2 Ohio homeless men foil robber

Posted: Updated:

Two homeless men near Cincinnati are being called heroes after they stopped a robbery.

Surveillance video shows the robber knocking a businessman to the ground and punching him. That's when one hero jumped in and stopped the attack. Then a second homeless man who happened to be nearby jumped in to help.

"I heard somebody yell for help, and I looked over and a man was being assaulted," says one of the men. "Instincts kind of jumped in. You have to help."

The men say they didn't even think about the suspect potentially having a gun, they just followed their instincts.

As for the suspect, he was taken into custody and charged with robbery and obstructing official business.
