2 men in court for pair of downtown bank robberies

Two men faced a judge Friday morning for a pair of bank robberies in downtown Toledo.

The robberies happened Thursday at the PNC Bank on Madison Avenue and Wednesday at the Huntington Bank.

Police arrested Oscar Banks, 48, for both crimes. They also arrested Anthony Rayford, 47, for his role in the crime at Huntington Bank.

Bond was set Friday at $100,000 for Banks and $50,000 for Rayford.

    Some families in Maumee were surprised to open their utility bills and find some were ten times the normal amount. Many come from the Wrenworth subdivision and say they've been getting these very high

At least one family did not get an actual meter reading in several months.
