
More than two dozen hardy souls braved 49-degree waters to swim from the former prison of Alcatraz to San Francisco's Aquatic Park.
Some of the swimmers wore wet suits. But one of the youngest -- 16-year old Hunter Wright-- wore nothing but his speedo.
Swimmers say they have to focus on endurance. They also have to be constantly aware of the changing currents of the bay. All made it to shore.
