-The gas line relocation work will continue on Secor Road, and will cause some delays from Central Avenue to Monroe Street. This work is in preparation for the 2013 Secor Road Reconstruction Project. Occasionally, there may be lane restrictions both in the northbound and southbound directions. The work will be completed by March 1, 2013.
-Through January 18, 2013, ODOT crews will be completing drainage work on I-75. This will take place from Stickney Avenue to the State Line. Intermittent lane restrictions are both in the northbound and southbound directions will be possible as crews work.
-SB I-280 at Bahnsen Road will be CLOSED due to bridge repair. ODOT crews will be repairing the steel beams that were damaged last summer by a passing truck. Traffic will be detoured onto the Bahnsen Road exit and entrance ramps. During peak rush hours, to alleviate traffic congestions, ODOT will reopen SB I-280 between 2pm and 7pm. This work will run through the month of January.
-Watch your speed on Alexis Road. As crews work on rehabilitating the bridge over the railroad tracks, Alexis will be narrowed to just one lane on each side between Detroit and Stickney. The speed limit is 50mph, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to go a bit slower than that over the bridges. That project is scheduled to be completed by November 2013.
-During the month of January, ODOT crews will be performing drainage work on I-280 from Front Street to Manhattan Blvd. Intermittent single lane restrictions are possible.
