Flood Watches and Warnings in effect

FINDLAY, Ohio -

Flood Watches are in effect across the entire area, as another round of soaking rain is pushing into Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan from Indiana.  Tonight and into Sunday, 1" to 1.5" of rain is likely across most of the area.  This follows a week of melting snow, and between 0.5" and 1.0" of rain at the end of last week.  The ground is saturated, and some rivers are already running high.  

Minor flooding is expected on Sunday along the Auglaize River, the St. Mary's River, the Blanchard River, and the headwaters of the Scioto River.  River Flood Warnings are in effect for the rest of the weekend for Paulding, Putnam, Allen, Hancock and Marion Counties.

    Portions of Moore, Oklahoma were ravaged by a mile-wide tornado this Monday afternoon. This follows a near-record quiet start to tornado season. Strong storms may reach northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan by Tuesday.

    Two Toledo firefighters suffered minor Monday morning after a fire in West Toledo. It happened in the 3600 block of Berkerly near Berdan.
    2 Toledo firefighters were treated for minor injuries following a fire in West Toledo.  It happened in the 3600 Block of Berdan on Monday.  One was treated for a minor burn and the other for heat exhaustion.  Both have now returned to duty.
